Solutient has expanded its relationship with Major League Baseball (MLB) via a contract to develop and manage a web-based application supporting Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI), an MLB youth outreach program designed to increase participation and interest in baseball and softball among underserved youth, encourage academic achievement, promote greater inclusion of minorities into the game and teach the value of teamwork.

The Solutient Corporation developed the web application and now manages the software that provides the ability for MLB program directors to track the progress of youth baseball players from the age of five through high school.

The web based service supporting MLB’s RBI program was developed and active in time to support the 2013 program. First year results have been universally positive with MLB staff reporting that the program has eased their workload, noting that the system not only worked as planned, but helped them to monitor RBI leagues much more closely than in years past.
